Distress floating smoke signals are surplus but will be ready to fire for years to come. Puts out approximately 70,000-100,000 cubic feet of bright orange smoke in 3-5 minutes. Assorted selection of manufacturers that perform the same. Pull string to ignite. Water Resistant. Can be used on land or in the water. If used in water, canister will float while producing smoke.

The smoke bomb was set off in brush to test to see if it would catch it on fire. The only thing that happened was an orange discoloration around the immediate area and a wet black on the grass immediately in front of the outlet. |

During the last 45 second of the smoke bomb the wind picked up. So, we tossed it into a near by mudding hole to show that the smoke bomb floated and still produced smoke. As you can see the wind is carrying the smoke pretty fast. |
